spine to spine
they recline
dog and girl

toes touch head
on the bed
cat and girl

how will they make room for

heart plus mind
intertwined
man and girl

I'm not big on poetry, but this is awesome! I can identify, too, since I "share" my full-sized bed with a dog and cat, too.

Thank you for this compliment - it's kept me jazzed all day. I'm so glad that you like the poem. Isn't it amazing how much room our animal friends can take up on a bed? I tell everyone that it's Annie's queen size double pillow top bed and she allows me to sleep there at night.
